What the Job Involves

Honestly, it is a mix. Some visits are personal care, helping someone wash, dress and get their day started. Some are practical, a meal made and a bit of tidying. Some are simply company, and those matter more than people expect.

You will be trusted with a lot. Medication, someone's dignity, spotting when they are not quite right and saying so. That responsibility is real and we train and support you for it, with supervision, spot checks and a nursing team behind you.

It can be hard work, and there are days that are sad. Most carers who stay tell us the same thing, which is that being the person someone is genuinely pleased to see is worth more than any job they have had before.

We recruit for attitude. If you are reliable, kind and prepared to learn, we can teach you the rest.

What We Ask For

  • The right to work in the UK
  • An enhanced DBS check, which we arrange
  • Two references
  • A caring, reliable attitude and a willingness to learn

No experience?

That is fine. A large number of our carers had never worked in care before joining us. Full induction and Care Certificate training are provided and paid.

How Joining Us Works

  1. Apply

Two minutes online, or call the office if forms are not your thing.

  2. A conversation

An informal chat about you, your availability and what you are looking for. Not an interrogation.

  3. Checks and training

DBS, references, then full paid induction and Care Certificate training before you work alone.

  4. Shadowing, then your own visits

You work alongside an experienced carer first, and you are introduced to your clients properly rather than sent to a stranger's door.
